F10 Sunroof malfunction
Hello everyone! My f10 m5 is now having problems with its sunroof.
Most annoyingly it doesn’t tilt anymore no matter the sunroof is closed or not. Then I cannot open/close it by pushing the button to the end. That is I have to keep pushing the button to open/close until it stops. I have read the error code from app and it turns out 2 error codes which do not make any sense to me FZD 030215: SHD: invalid characteristic, no standardization available 030295: ESH: invalid characteristic, no standardization available Anyone has had this kind problem before? Any idea helps ***Problem fixed*** Because the battery was once replaced and the previous owner did not reset the sunroof properly, the malfunction appears Just simply press tilt for 15s and the sunroof will tilt *important: keep pressing the button til the sunroof stops moving itself, the process takes about 30s or more. The reason why I failed to reset before was I released the button at 15s. Hahha Last edited by rickyf10; 05-23-2019 at 04:54 PM.. |

I recently bought an f10 with sunroof and had the same problem. Mine likely come a lot during g a battery change, to reset it theres a set procedure but basically, press the tilt button continuously and let the roof go through a full open and close cycle, tilt, slid, the works. The roof them recalibrate itself or similar and should start working as intended. I might be able to find a link somewhere....

Resetting sounds like a good idea and I’ve tried few times before. But thing is that tilt button doesn’t even work. I guess the word “reset” we say here is actually “standardization”, which is not available according to the error code. Have you checked your error codes? |
