Good morning guys. I am trying to connect my Iphone to my F10 for the BT audio but i cant find the BT audio link on CD/Multimedia. I do have the Phone BT connected. Are this 2 separate options on the idrive or am i doing something wrong here ? Thx for your time

Go to telephone, Bluetooth, select your phone, options, select bluetooth audio button.

You will have to do this everytime after you connect your phone via the USB cable. Big PITA

True. When you dock your phone or connect the USB cable, the bloody Idrive freaks and disables bt audio (if enabled).

2014 7 series don't have this problem.

If your car was built before September 2010 you don't have the Bluetooth Audio option. Send us an email at info@bimmer-tech.net with your VIN and I'll confirm it and will let you know how you can retrofit it.
