Harmon Hardon vs standard vs B&O sound

Hi all,
I have the Harmon Kardan stereo coming in my car, which was an expensive upgrade over the standard kit which is a bit tinny in my E60. Is is any good? Alot of talk on here is about the B&O system, so hopefully is worth the money

Anyone have any experience of it?

I've got the HiFi pro, similar to Harman Kardon in the LCI, and it's well worth it.

Harmon Kardon, worth the $$. B&O...that is a ton of money for a sound system.

I would pay if i used to drive over 30hrs per week.

I had the Logic 7 Harmon Kardon in my E90, and it was really good - especially with the EQ settings one of the members on e90post.com was kind enough to put up.

I have the standard audio system in my F10 as the Harmon Kardon is available, in the US, as part of an upgrade package ($4300

) containing a bunch of features I don't want.

It just doesn't sound as good...

Have heard mixed reviews about the B&O - some love it, some say the sound quality isn't justified by the price.

Now I had had it this week, I can confirm it is well worth the upgrade, and has Logic 7 too.

Crystal clear sound, voice from the front centre stage.

In the UK it comes as part of the M Sport Plus pack, which is sun protection glass, rear spoiler, 19" 351's and HK sounds, all for £2k.

Given the price of adaptive, head up display etc, this is bargain of the century!!

Have the Premium Sound (Pro) on my 2011 (best available at the time) and on my 2014 I have the B&O ... worth every penny in my opinion. Ready to order a 2014 X5 in a few months ... B&O will be on my build again.
