Came from the PAS concept. Knowing the regulations these days, they probably won't make it to the real model though.
HKS that's a great PS. I wanted to do the same thing myself just to see how it would look, but this saves me a lot of time Great job, and definitely on my list of potential next cars!

Thanks guys. The only issue I have with it is that it doesnt actually have anything new. Look at the things it pretty much has in common with the new 7:
Headlights, rear lights, grille, front bumper, rear exhausts, side creases, door handles, side vents. Also, I'm not sure if I like the rear-door kink. Its one you might find on a coupe. At first I liked it but now I think I might prefer the style of the current 5. Hmm...

With the new regulations now put in place for Automobiles in Europe, I would imagine the new 5 series to look similar to this chop in terms of the front end design.
I don't really BMW's new design for the 7 nor do I car for the 'baby X6 a la GT5 Touring (whatever the hell its called?). Meh. |

X3, X5, X6, X1...M variants of the X5 and X6. Now this. It's just getting stupid. It's hard to even identify the target markets.

First one is completely wrong - headlight shapes and overall proportions.
Second model has wrong headlight shape , correct rear glass and hoffmeister but bootline is to condensed not too mention too high. |

Nice chop HKS, even accounted the right wheelbase proportion for F10 5er. The PAS GT5 headlights are not bad on sedan. The overall dimension of PAS GT5 should have earned PAS GT7 instead since the wheelbase, width are based on standard F01 750i. With new interior styling direction of PAS, F10 sedan makes a better looking 5er inside and out.

F10 5-Series Sedan/Wagon Renderings
The first two chops from Car Magazine. The emblem should be on front bumper. The grill is a bit wider not as tall as 7er, and the rear lights are very closed to the real deal according to Scott.
Third chop from Valencia. Last edited by Mii; 02-28-2009 at 08:50 PM.. |
