HARTGE N63 ECU tune installed on my 550ix Drive - 490 Hp and 720 Nm

Hartge official specs for their 550i tune
Quote:
360 kW (490 hp) / 5500 rpm 720 Nm (lb-ft 531) / 6400 rpm
Went down to Germany and installed an extra ECU at Hartge.
Now the engine deliveres 490 Hp (+ 83hp from factory) and 720 Nm / 531 lb-ft torque (+ 89tq from factory).

The improvement in acceleration is fantastic!

These are the figures before / after ( measured with VBOX ):

* 0-100km/h 5.1s / 4.7s
* 0-200km/h 17.5s / 14.5s

Needless to say, but I´m very satisfied.

This gives me basically the same performance as my M5 E60.
The difference is that with this car it works even in bad road conditions.

Is this Hartge ECU available in the US? Does the addition of the ECU limit any warranties on the car from BMW?

You can get the dinan ecu here in the US. It's cheaper and offers the same power.

550iX

I have also looked att that ECU from Hartge nice you are satisfyed!!

Got my 550iX -11 delivered yesterday at Autopartner in Kristianstad, its Alpin white with M-package and the 19" M-alloys and almoast all extras exept screens in the backseat!

Its a fantastic car!! But the roadnoise in it is very high and irritating!! Do you also think that??
On my car its Michelin RFT tyres, i have no good experiance of RFT tyre byt thought they have been better now bud that dont seem to bee the case..

What tyre should i choose when i will by the 20-21" wheel to avoid the irritaiting roadnoise!!

What tires do you have? Michelin RFT? What pressure you have in the tires?

I think the wheel size he is looking at should give a clue as to road noise, 20-21" wheels will give road noise regardless of tyre choice.
The M-Sport I test drove had NO tyre noise on 19" sport wheels.

Can I add that chip to my leased 550i and not encounter problems when I turn it in?

Have you noticed any loss in fuel economy? This would not change my mind on an install I prefer power over fuel economy. But just curious.

Vad betalade du för Hartge modulen inkl montering i Tyskland?

Actually, when driving normal ( meaning slow.... ) it seems that I have slightly better fuel economy. Probably due to the 120 Nm higher torque at lower rpm?

I have 2.4 / 2.6 bar.

Den kostar 3550 EUR ink. moms. Prata med Jörg så får Du nog " lite " rabatt, det fick jag.

I would be very careful about that. I'm pretty sure that it would in fact be an issue as having this mod voids your powertrain warranty.
