I just got email from dealer saying they will do invoice on custom build '14 535, MSRP $66,500
Looks like invoices on '14 are still hard to find so I did my own math: Based MSRP is $55,100 than invoice is $50,692 Options invoice $9,532.25 So based on 92% of the base MSRP and plus 91% of MSRP for packages and options my invoice is: $50,692 + $9,532.25 + $925 = $61,150 MSRP = $66500 Sale Price = $61150 Tax = 6.5% 36 months/10k miles $1600 down = $765/month - all fees are in Is this seems like a good deal '14? Any comments welcome! |

I don't think so. I have never heard of that. When you ask some dealer forum members for MF/residual they never ask you your location. The rates are national.

I was wondering if you could help me what kind of deal this would be?
This is the first time I am buying a car in the US as I am helping my parents who just moved there so I am a bit confused with all the charges etc. even though I have done quite a bit of research. It's a pretty basic 2014 528i with M-Sport and Premium package. Dealer has this in their lot so we could pick it up right away. 2014 528i BASE MSRP $49,500 M Sport $3,150 Alpine White $0 Leather Dakota Venetian Beige exclusive stitching $0 Dark wood trim $0 Premium Package $2,600 Destination charge $925 Total MSRP $56,175 Retail price $57,170 (incl. $995 dealer equipment) Preferred customer savings -$995 Dealer added accessories (nitrogen policy and perma plate) $948 Sub-Total $57,123 Sales tax (6%) $3,477.39 Total fees (service fee, registration, tag, etc) $1,183.50 Total $61,783.89 Dealer offer is $58,500 Thanks a lot!

The invoice also includes $380 for MACO and $180 for Training fees bringing the total to $52,258. What is the service fee? Sounds like maybe a garbage fee. I would aim for invoice plus your addons, tax, registration, etc. just ballparking it, I would try to get the dealer down another $800 to $1,000 which would be a good deal. However, I got my 2014 535i at $1,000 under invoice so it is possible to go even lower. Also, I don't think the 528i MSport comes with the MSport suspension like the 535 & 550 do, if that matters to you.

Yes that was the sales price prior to any incentives. If you live in California or an adjacent state, let me know and I can put you in touch with my Dealer.

Hi Sonic,
You seem to have gotten a steal! I tried to message you, but apparently my account is too new and I don't have the ability. I'm in the Socal region and looking for a 2014 535i or 535d as well. If you wouldn't mind to message me I'd appreciate it. |
