Ordered my new car!

So not quite what I'd planned to do today, but I'm very excited

So, I've ordered a 535d M Sport with the following options:

552 adaptive LED lights
430 folding exterior mirrors
2TB eight speed sport automatic transmission
6WB multi function display
609 navigation professional multimedia
M Sport Plus package
12v socket option

Have been quoted a 10-12 week delivery timescale, so have asked them to keep it until 1st September so it is registered on a 64 plate

Too many sleeps to wait until it arrives

I'm sure you'll be very pleased.

I've had mine since the last week in February and have 7500 miles on the clock. On a day to day basis it doesn't do anymore than my previous 530d but if you ask for that extra grunt it certainly has it.

Welshman - what's your average mpg you are getting from it?

I'm getting 40/41 on a motorway run - keeping the speed at around 80/85.

Worst is 29.5 but that was towing a trailer with the Atom on it.

Around town it's about 34/35.

Waiting for confirmation of the delivery date - could be anywhere from late June to early August .. If it is in June will probably take delivery straight away, thinking if it is late July / early August then may ask the dealer to wait until 1st Sept to register it so got a 64 plate...?

I am impressed you have the patience to wait another month.. I couldn't wait till the weekend never mind a month.

Predicted delivery is end of June so if that's confirmed I won't be waiting until September !

Got a call with the dealer later today to confirm final spec!

Probably best to stay away from here until after the phone call, otherwise people will helpfully make you aware of so many "must have" items that you'll either double your budget or have a nervous breakdown.

I'd love to try a F10 535d rwd, here the 535d is pretty rare, and the few that's out there are mostly F11 535d with xdrive, but those are considerable heavier than a f10 with rwd.
