Maybe they are just planning more time in port.

Curitiba arrived this morning and is offloading today. Unfortunately the trucking company has Thursday and Friday off according to my CA. Looks like a delivery next week.

The BMW site is now showing my car at the VPC. Should be ready to get on the truck for the 140 miles to my dealer when they are back from the holiday.

This may sound like a newbie question but what is the advantage to EU Delivery? How do you place the order, through BMW Europe or through the loacl CA. I am trying to get my ducks in a row to order a 535i 6MT since my local CA can't seem to find one and wants me to purchase an A6 528i instead. Thanks in advance, Bill

My car is still in Paris going on 4.5 weeks now. Spoke to an agent at TT transport about it and he said as of now they have "no plans" on when it may be taken to Bremerhaven. This is ridiculous already it's supposed to be 6 to 8 weeks total transit time plus an extra week because I dropped it off outside of Germany at this rate it will take at least 12 weeks.

Apparently I misunderstood that "released to carrier" and delivery date listed on the status report that was sent to me does not mean "on its way to the dealer" and it will arrive on the listed delivery date.

So I am still waiting. Talked to CA today and still not actually on its way. He said "maybe tomorrow" but says he has no way to know for sure.

Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday. On my way to pick it up at 11am today. The delay actually worked out as we had snow and ice Sat/Sunday. Expected to hit the 60s this weekend. I will miss the convertible on that day.

Awesome! Same deal happened to me... they had no idea when the car would arrive and then *poof* one day it magically appeared. I assume you are (were) at Leith, which is where I got mine.

Hope you are enjoying it. Watch out for the ice tomorrow morning!

What a car. My only nitpik is it requires more steering corrections at highway speeds than my e93. Might be due to IAS. Love the ride and handling.
