thanks, yea fit perfectly, was surprised not gonna lie, I thought id have some problems, only thing is that I had to remove the engine cover, but honestly this looks bad ass without it lol.

my rear is all over the place too, I need to get that going first before the m5 sway in the front.

Is it a stiffy?

Given rigidity is the objective, the design of this brace is a head-scratcher. The connection between the bar and the attachment plate should have been triangulated with a gusset - it's bound to be a flex point.

I did notice that too! If u look at Turner's it's bracket is mounted on all 3 points

Hood closes, I took it off because I wanted to see how it would look, but its a really tight fit without the cover on the 550i as it is.

its been good so far, I feel a small difference.
I really need to get one for the rear tho.

Havent paint it yet, I will when I change my plugs and filters.

I bought this and received it today for my 12 550i. The fitment is touching the intake and puts a decent amount of pressure on it. There is no way to have the engine cover on. I decided not to install as with the engine vibrations, it would constantly be rubbing against the bar.

It may be a quality issue, but for the price, it was worth a shot.

yea i realized that this pass weekend, that it wont fit with the cover on for the V8, its just a big engine, it was designed on a smaller engine, maybe if they redesign it a bit to fit better in the 550 it would sell better. just needs to go up 1/2 inch. if that
