Tires for HRE FF01
Hello everyone, I'm waiting for a set of HRE FF01 but I can't decide which tire sizes to choose. For the front I'm going with 20x9 (245/35/20). What about the rear? Can I run 20x10 (285/30/20) without any rubbing? The car has ACS springs and xdrive btw. Thanks in advance!

Yes, 285/30/20 will work fine. Gtmassive, who has since turned in his car off lease, was running those sizes on his XDrive 535 with ACS Springs. I also run the same setup, but my car is not XDrive.

What's the offset in the rear? If it's 40ish, 285 will work.

285 is going to be wider, but is it possible to tell the difference between 285 and 275?

I am running 20x10 ET41 with a 10mm spacer (so effective ET31) and I don't have any rubbing issues with ACS springs.

yes, you can run 245/35/20 in the front and 285/30/20 in the rear. That is how i had it setup on my 535i xdrive and no rubbing whatsoever. I have BC forged wheels with the same specs as your and I also lowered.
The 245/35/20 will have a bit of stretched look to it though due to the 9" wide tires in the front but not issue in performance. |
