Your car is beautiful. I don't much care for the mine-site but the car is gorgeous.

OMFG!!!! DUDE!!! those wheels are fucking awesome!!! I cant stop staring at your car!!! wow. I love the rear tires!!! I just ordered mine a week ago and am thinking of what wheels to put. Im so leaning to 21" but dont know if its gonna rub. Do yours rub? when you turn or hit a bump? hows the front fenders? also did you do any mod to the springs? I really dont wanna mod anything just wanna slap the wheels on.

Yes the rear tires are Falken Fk452's and they have a very thin and hard profile and yes, a very nice tread design as well. If your planning on slapping some new wheels on your F10, I would say 21" is the way to go if you want it to look the BEST!! However, I will also advise that if going with 21" wheels, you should go with a tire that has a larger profile than the Falkens, which have 30 on the fronts and 25 on the rears. I can definitely feel a major difference in the ride quality compared to my older setup which had 35 profile on the fronts and 30 profile on the rears. I wasn't slammed on coilovers on my older setup either, which probably contributes to the ride quality of my current 21" setup. A friend of mine has the same setup I have on a different car, but he has Continental DW's. 245/35/21 and 285/30/21 on a 9" front wheel and a 10.5 rear(slightly stretched). I drove his car and felt much, much smoother than my setup which is 255/30/21 and 295/25/21. Again, he isn't slammed on coilovers as I am, so that might also be the reason for the smoothness. As far as rubbing, I rub very slightly only on big dips due to the aggressive offset I have on the rears and the lowness I have set on the coilovers, although if I raised the car about 1/4-1/2 an inch I wouldn't rub at all. Moral of the story: If going with 21's all over again I would get a thicker profile tire, at least a 30 profile on the front and 35 on the rears, Other than that ALL IS GOOD |
