Question for norwegian/swedish users:)?
Hi there!
I have a 2011 non-m.sport 520d F10 with EDC.The car desperatly needs a drop, looks like a SUV now!I live in Oslo,Norway and wonder where I can have this done without loosing the warranty on my car?Asked the guys at Bavaria Ĝkern, but they couldn't help me,which I find a bit strange,as there seems to be several other scandinavian users here in this forum that have had this done by their BMW-dealer!??Guess I wanna go with Hartge,AC Schnitzer or H&R as I don't wanna change the dampers(Cause of the EDC),just the springs!Anyone know if there are any issues/problems with this? Kind regards, SoleOne. |

Hi,thanx for the reply.Allright, sounds good, can't understand why there would be any warrantyissues myself, but that's what Bavaria said! Are there any hightdifference from the front to the rearwheels with the AC-drop?The gap in the front is about 1 cm larger than in the back on my car it seems, don't really like that!
But I guess I have to check with some other dealers in Norway and Sweden to see if they can do it,no plans on going to Lübeck anytime soon |

So they just wouldn't install the springs because of warrenty issues?

I have a touring, then the rear adjust itself automaticly. I think you need a little more gap in the front, because of the steering. But my car looks level.

Correct, that's what they said.Honestly,I can't see why it would be a problem,it's not a very extreme drop or anything..And as I've been told by a friend of mine at Audi;THEY don't have any warrantyissues conserning this matter,so I find it quite strange.. Touring: Ahh,of course,my badBut that sounds good, quite important to me that the car looks level! By the way:GS Bildeler offered me H&R front/back-springs for 2800nok,think that's a ok price?! |

H&R 28947-1 springs ordered today, can't wait to have them installed
(Hope they work with the EDC though! The guys at GS weren't sure, but they couldn't find any instructions etc saying it won't!So fingers crossed..) |

From what I've read here, changing only springs doesn't affect the EDC.
