Auto clock set??

Hi All.

I need clarification on the use of the "Auto Time/Date set" box in the Settings menu.

First of all, before I get roasted, I know it's not a big deal to manually set the Date and Time but I have the box ticked and nothing seems to happen.

I believe the sync is taken from the BMW Online app and also the time has to be more than 2 mins out but there is also a coding named GPS sync for Time but is this the same sync??

So I travel abroad and the time does not adjust for the different time zone which is perhaps correct if the sync is being taken from the internet but then what will happen when the clocks go back at the end of October?

I like the idea of the sync to the GPS, as a more reliable source, if that does actually do the job.

Of course it could mean that it is just not working on my car,

It does work but it doesn't constantly poll for the correct time - set it and leave it for a bit and it will check and adjust periodically.
