Would you trade 550i for 650i

It's all in the mind. In a several months that New car will feel exactly to you (relative) as your "old" car did when you got swept by that new one.

Or just hang around GM, Ford, Toyota and Nissan, etc. lots. You'll stay in your car for a long time then.

Beg to differ. when I got my f10 550i fully loaded, I already feel something should be better. The driving feel, exterior looks, brakes, suspensions. Those all caused me to drool over quite a few cars in showrooms.

The F06 is different. I bot the car and everything feels just right. I replaced brakes, suspension, body kits on the f10. On my f06, I have no need to do anything extra to it and it feela miles better than.the f10.

I walk into showrooms and nothing can sway me from the f06 that i now own......

Of course it's all relative to how you feel about the car you have now. However, showroom cars always have a mental advantage (and in many cases a fundamental advantage if simply being new with newer bits, but not as much as the mind may sway you to believe is so paramount).

I can't think of one car short of Tesla Model S which is out of my price range and still not necessarily superior to my F10 to me, that I'd rather have over my F10 (a New 911 is my ultimate but too small and tight for me). Yes a 6 GC with M Sport is probably the other "only car" I'd rather have than my F10 (I don't like the way the GC looks without M Sport Package.... not right), but even then I'm too tall to be truly comfortable in it and I don't think it's "better" looking than the F10, as sexy as it is. To me the F10 is one of the most balanced and timeless Sedan's to ever come out. I truly connect with it this much. But yeah, the 6GC in M Sport Package is probably a car you can get and literally find nothing better than it out there.... IMO it's one of the most beautiful designs which walks a fine line between unconventional and somewhat conventional.
