Munich suggestions

ok long story,

i am currently a Owner or a 2013 535

when i purchased the car i was unable to do ED due to busyy schedule.

but now on my summer break i am going on a trip with a friend who is from Montenegro,

i always wanted and dreamed of doing ED. though this is not ED Our trip to Montenegro requires us to make a transfer in Munich so i convinced him we have a 3 days stay in Munich before getting to Montenegro (his home country.)

Due to the short time i want to make the best of the 3 days we have.

of course the main reason for the stop is to visit welt and take a tour.

besides that what is best thing to do in Munich in this short period.

was thinking either eagle nest tour and Neuschwanstein castle.

please advise me on best way to spend my short time their.

thank you !!!

PS> first time in Europe very excited

Very cool. So much to do in the area. Regardless of what you visit, recommend renting an F10 to get you there -- so fun on the autobahn.

Having lived in Munich 4 years, my suggestions:
1. Spend at least one day in Munich. Beautiful pedestrian zone, great food.
2. Take the A8 autobahn toward Saltzburg. It is 6 lanes half of the way and if you have an F10 type car, easy to hit 150 mph. 2/3 of the way is the Chiemsea, a lake with a castle on it. Continue to Saltzburg Austria if you have time.
3. Take the A93 autobahn south to Garmish Partenkirchen. Beautiful German town. Go west to Neuschwanstein and back to Munich.

Hope this helps.

My suggestion after having done numerous trips to Germany. One day in Munich as another poster recommended. It is a great walking city. Then I would head to Rothenburg ob der Tauber which wifey I found to be more interesting than the Castles or Salzburg, although both are fine. On the other hand Garmish Partenkirchen is a beautiful town with great hiking. Many fine choices.
