I got the Bmw Performance Pedals from Tischer Bmw. They have it listed on their site.

Sorry no pics.

To me Space Grey is such a beautiful color for the Msport F10. Relatively low maintenance color and pretty rare since everyone gets AW or CB.
....Well you convinced me, got mine a few months ago, and after a few mods (you'll see your ride was an inspiration), I'm absolutely loving this color (and car). So easy to keep clean, and just looks great day or night. First non-black vehicle after 10 black cars / trucks....and happy I made the choice. Hack pix attached.

Quite interested in how you painted your tail lights. They look fantastic. And the new diffuser looks great. Looks like a solid fit....

Just read through your entire 10 page thread for inspiration. Finally bought a CPO '11 535 that I take delivery of on Monday. Great modding!

ACS Suspension

Hi Alan,
Beautiful car! I'm very inspired by your car and will be building out my Space Gray 535 in a similar style. I'm going to go with black wheels, which I think will be a nice distinction to many F10 5 series out there.

I'm curious about the ACS springs. I think they provide the perfect amount of drop, but I'm wondering how you like the ride? I'm concerned that I am going from 19s to 20s AND dropping the car. Did the ride suffer from the combination of these two changes? Also, does this affect the car's suspension settings at all (ie- Comfort, Normal, Sport, Sport+)? Or will this feature still work the same? Finally, where do you recommend buying the springs? I have read some bad stories on this forum about ACS Spring purchase gone very bad.

Thanks in advance!
Dennis

Thanks

The ACS springs works flawlessly on my DDC equipped car. all of the settings still functions as normal with the only difference being that the car is now 1" lower and all of the settings are a tad firmer but far from being rough or harsh. Even with my 20" wheels the suspension rides extremely nice in Sport and still very cushy in comfort+

Trust me for springs ACS is your top choice and all of the reviews on the forums supports it. Handles better than stock, moderate drop and rides like it should have came from the factory.

I'm in absolute agreement with Alan. My 2012 535i has DDC and I successfully installed the ACS springs, myself, 1 week ago. My ride sits about 1 inch lower. As with Alan, all of my settings (EcoPro, Comfort+, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Sport+), still function as normal and all of the settings are a tad firmer but far from being rough or harsh. I'm very happy with the look and the quality/handling of the ride.

I'm running OEM 19 inch rims at the moment. However, I'm waiting on delivery of a set of 20" Morr MS8's with Michelin PSS's. I should get some enhanced ride quality once the RFT's are replaced with the PSS's.

Thank you for your reply, Alan. Also, thank you Andy!
Any suggestions on where to buy the springs? Also, one last item: I am about to order some Forgestar F14 20" wheels and I'm wondering if you have any suggestions on the offset. Forgestar says that they can give me the proper offset, but since you've done this already Alan, I thought I'd ask the master! Thanks again!

Dennis, I'm sorry but I don't know the specifics you are looking for regarding offsets. When I placed the order for my Morr wheels I requested a flush fit with the fender. When I asked for the offsets they explained that their offsets were proprietary, guarded and could not be shared.

Alan or others are likely able to give you better feedback.

Awesome, thanks Andy. I'm sure I can trust Forgestar to give me the correct offsets. I just thought I'd ask in case someone knew what the offsets should be for certain. I'll contact ACS to buy the springs!

Great looking ride. I was up in the air about SG but now I think I might pick up a 550i in that color. Hopefully we can meet one day at the meet.

Here's a break down of the 3D Design parts if i remember correctly

Front spoiler - 1K
Trunk spoiler - $700
Roof spoiler - $600

The supersprint exhaust is pretty much from the middle of the car back. Race pipe section and muffler section as supersprint calls it.

Rear bumper is stock Msport that came with the car. The rear diffuser is the BMW Performance one which goes for around $500
