So, does anyone have any insider information or insight into the status of BMW apps? When I waited for the 6NR option, rather than buying an existing car on the lot, I was thinking we were going to be on the edge of a new revolution in connectivity.

However, we still only have the same three, variably useful, apps available (twitter, Facebook, Internet radio). And the app itself has yet to ever receive any sort of update.

In addition to commenting on that, can anyone tell me if there is any potential for enhanced app functionality with the eternally delayed snap in adapter? I'm still not clear what that does beyond charging and antenna enhancement.
