My car arrived at the dealership last Friday, and after signing some documents today, delivery has been arranged for Monday!

Looking back, I should have spec'd Pro Media

and Harmon Kardon instead of Business Advanced, but at least now I know what I'll be adding in 2 years time!

I'm really excited to see how the Oyster Interior looks, haven't seen one in the skin yet!

What was the timescale from placing order to getting delivery?

Thanks!

Order was placed in the second week of February, car arrived here last week and delivery is Scheduled for Monday.

I went to the dealers today to sign all the paperwork and while I was there, I saw my car!!

Needless to say, I can't wait for Monday to roll around!

check out the paintwork

I was in a dealership at the weekend and whilst waikting for a member of staff to arrive, had a wander around the showroom. I stood next to a 118 and was surprised at how many scratches (swirlmarks) were on the paintwork. Other cars seemed ok but this dark blue 118 was terrible.
I'd have rejected it personally, so just worth checking its ok, easy to miss in all of the excitement!

Thanks AP, already had a look at the car on Friday when signing the paperwork. It all looked good, the "oyster" leather looked a bit beige though.

Out of interest, how many of us keep our cars on the driveway or street?

I'm getting a little worried as I suspect that bar a couple of range rovers, my car might be the nicest on the street and draw unwanted attention.

That's always a risk I am a bit ocd as regards where I leave my car. Mine is kept off street but it whenever I leave my car elsewhere , its always in the back of my mind. Downside of having a nice car.

Yeah, I guess I'll just have to get used to it!

I got the car today at 6 ish, and have driven it only about 60 miles today

My earlier regrets are no more, Business Advanced has quite a decent punch to it and business nav is still miles better than what I had on the Accord!

I'm loving the ambient lighting feature too, as well as the black panel display with directions on the bottom!

Even as standard, the car is still quite a tech fest!

Thanks piers, oyster is brilliant! I went for the same interior combo as you, hexagon trim with oyster and they go together very well. It is a bit more yellow than I was expecting though.

Finally gave the car a good once over with some Autoglym Super Resin Polish as well as Extra Gloss Protection and the shine is great now
