My car has been sitting in Paris for over two weeks awaiting a ride to Bremerhaven so it looks like I have another LONG wait once it gets there based on the wait you all have had to endure. Sucks cause I miss it like crazy, I just finished breaking her in when I got to Paris so when she gets here she's getting an oil change and then we will she what she can really do!

Just got confirmation from my CA that my car is on the Curitiba as well. Estimated arrival of 12/13 in Brunswick. Pending smooth ride through VPC looks like I could have my car before Christmas.

I've been debating whether to pickup at Performance Center on Jan 6, or get early. We have some friends that got Performance Center delivery and absolutely loved it so right now we are sticking with that BUT it's going to be hard knowing it's available to dealer from Dec 18ish and I don't have it. It would be nice to have it for Christmas. Maybe I will do Performance Center next time around. My wife wants the x5 50i. Hmmmmmm, so many decisions

Just heard from my CA also. On the Curitiba. Looks like I will get my lease pull-ahead deal after all. Now to set my alerts on Marinetraffic.com to let me know when in range of Brunswick so I can pester the poor guy for a pre x-mas delivery

Damn I'm so jealous! I spoke with BMW today and they have no idea when they will transport my 550i to Bremerhaven. I've also emailed my CA twice about it but since the deal is done I haven't heard any reply from him. So I guess I'm SOL.

Paris has pretty much been shut down with snow all week. Same as parts of the UK.

For those on the Curitiba I just noticed the port of Brunswick has no AIS coverage for vessel tracking. No way to know when it docks by web tracking. Looks like my dealer will get a call on Sat (expected to dock Friday).

I have been watching it (Curitiba) on digital-seas.com and it is just sitting off coast of spain. Last xmit from ship was six days ago. Don't know if website is accurate but my CA said it is now due in around 12/20.

The tracking system is VHF based so it has to be within line of site of another ship or of shore to be recorded and show up on the tracking system. It is kind of like a cellular system or relay system. They are working on a satellite system to track but it will not be free. 12/20 sounds right and is the new date showing on the K-Line website updated this morning. Not looking good for my pre xmass delivery. More likely right after xmass.

I wish they had AIS back when I was doing a lot of blue water sailing. Many a close call with much larger ships at night would have been avoided with this system.

Brunswick Port tracking is not available on the free sites so our CA will know for sure before we do when the ship arrived.
