Again great sound!!! The drone don't matter if you have a down pipe or not still drone is bad, fuken hate it! In side the car sounds like I'm in a Honda Civic with a $50 dollars muffler, don't get me wrong not saying anything bad about litespeed exhaust system is just the drone, I understand that any exhaust will have a drone but not like this, my entire car shakes when driving normal so since I installed the exhaust been driving my car on high rpms so I don't hear the drone, I had a 335 before with no mufflers just straight pipe and didn't have this much drone, I have to figure something out to get the drone away. I removed the entire exhaust and put back thought maybe a leak somewhere, but no leak is just the type of exhaust this is I guess, couple of members here are saying that even the SS has no drone, I would love to drive there car and see what there talking about because there's no way that they don't have drone, maybe they don't know what drone is or they don't mind it.

Sound is relative to each person. What you hear is different from what other people hear. Just because you "Think" you hear drone doesn't mean that another person will hear it. Its all relative to each individual. I have personally built many cars and drone to me might seem nothing to my customers or it will seem extremely loud.
Titanium has a more unique sound then SS. I actually prefer titanium over SS whereas some people like the SS. I have had LiteSpeed Racing on all of my cars and to me I like the titanium. IF you feel like you hear drone, take out the downpipe. Most times I see people do not know how to install the exhaust correctly and that is 95% of the cause of hearing the exhaust different. Each occasion is different.

What are are you talking about drone is drone my man!!!! Seems like you don't know anything about cars and exhaust system, what person like to have a drone on there car and sound like a fuken Honda civic inside your car!!! You need to check your ears man seems like your deff on the drone part. You can't even hear your self talking. Shakes the shit out of your car and seat while driving normal, again I like the sound of the exhaust the drone has to go. I removed the down pipe and still drones so that means down pipe has nothing to do with the drone part is the exhaust!!!! I would love to drive you stupid ass car and hear your exhaust since you say you have no drone!!!!! You maybe need to check your ears my friend.

I just don't like when companies sell exhaust and lie about drone shit, just so they can sell, be real to your product and tell the truth about it. No excuses yea but do this and do that and the drone will go away I did everything and still drone, seems like I'm going to return it.

The fact is, any exhaust that does not have the vacuum valves will drone.

Why do u say that?

Because of the openings being closed under partial throttle?

Correct. The valves are shut in the "drone" rpm band which is usually between 1800-2500 rpms while under partial throttle.

That not true at all. Stock F10 535s do not have a valve and they do not drone one bit. Also ZERO drone when running a catless DP with stock exhaust with no valve.

Drone is caused by a few things. Exhaust size and material. The muffler design is the BIGGEST determining factor if an exhaust will drone or not. Also if there is any contact between exhaust pipes running close together, improper installation of hangers or contact to the body will cause drone.

The stock exhaust doesn't drone for two main reasons.
1. The mufflers are huge and must be packed with lots of sound absorbing fiberglass, or similar material
2. The resonator is also huge and must have a lot of sounds absorbing material inside.

The flap that Mbbrewer is talking about exists on a the stock M5 exhaust

I know which cars have a flap. That is not the point. Mbbrewer is making it sound like the only cars that do not have drone are ones with the valve. Even with the valves bypassed on any of those cars. 135, 335, m5 there still is no drone.

Guess I should've clarified that I'm talking about the v8 motors in the 550 not the 535. The drone is not much of an issue on the 535 but it's brutal on the 550 unless you have the valve. That's why the 535 has no valve to speak of and the 550 and m5 does.

What can you do to make the drone go away on the litespeed exhaust?
