Coding

Anyone in the New England area know how to code the F10? Looking to get my car coded, and need someone that has done it before.

I have done a bunch of those to my car. If you want to meet up somewhere near me (Canton, MA) I can let you use my cable and walk you through the process.

Yeah that would be just fine with me. I'm usually free on the weekends if that works for you.

Ok - I'll shoot you a pm with details.

No picture, but if you know what the avg mph display that you already have looks like - imagine that but updated with your real time speed as another option in the BC.

On a related programming topic: Can you switch the mph reading on a 2013 model to read km/h? I'd like to import a US spec car to Canada. Thanks.

I've coded my previous 528, and I've just done my X3 and it's pretty easy.

I would be interested. Can you do the Video-in-motion recoding? I just picked up my F10 but want to change a lot of the standard stuff. Need to find a list of stuff that can be coded first.

Where in Western, MA?

You need an ENET Cable (I can direct you where to get one)

I would provide software links that need to be downloaded

You would download teamviewer.com free remote control software

I would connect to your laptop via teamviewer and you would connect the cable to your car.

From there we would be talking on the phone as I code your car to discuss what options you want, and to execute the changes that you ask for.

Very easy process ... just takes a little more "prep" time as you need to download some files prior to our coding session
