no man not at all everyone is entitled to there opinion
Everyone is different and certain people like certain looks.
I have friends who camber there wheels out and slam there car's
to the ground and other friends who do subtle drops and some who
are track oriented only. It just depends on the individual and what they
are looking for. The wheels can be pulled off with a drop and a camber adjustment

I'd like to thank everyone for the help and Gkap for putting one of the wheels on his F10. We've already talked and long story short, I've decided not to get the rims. That's not to say that this isn't doable for someone else. It just wasn't for me.

I think I'm going to go the stock BMW route now. I've always really liked the 311 rims, so I'm going to source a 21" set from an F01/F07. The offsets are comparable and I really like the look of this F10. I also want to go the 245/35/21 & 285/30/21 tire route to keep a little more side wall on the tire, so that's the route I'm headed...I think. That is until you all talk me out of it.

I have seen the 311 rim on a 750 ... very nice indeed. There is one guy here in Toronto, Canada (I have blogged) also got the same rim but 20". Very happy of the look on his 535 but he now wants another set (Vossen) for next summer.

See post #12 - 21" 311 rim on 750

If you want to consider a 1 summer used set, maybe send him a pm, if interested. He "Topview" is at the bimmerfest.com

Interesting, that's actually more poke than I expected.

Am I correct that if he went with a 10.5 inch rim, the offset would be ET29, or am I just as lost as before? I'm trying to get this offset thing worked out. Is it related to the Latin language by any chance?

Sean
ET is a German acronym and is short for "EinpressTiefe" or translated directly to English: "Press depth".

It's basically the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the (hub) mounting plane of the wheel.
