US Price List and Availability?

What is the US release date? Has BMW published a US price list yet?

Same here...on the list for a 535i to arrive around "June-ish" according to my dealer. He thought there was a chance it'd be earlier, but my X5 lease isn't up until July, so I don't mind it being a little later. Stevenross --- nice garage...great taste!

For now I have the first slot at my dealer to order, but may push it back if it'll end up here much before my X5 lease expiration. I can't wait to see an ordering guide when it comes out! I bought the C2S Cab off the showroom floor and the X5 was a lease takeover via Swapalease.com, so it'll be fun to pick out options and customize a car for a change. I'm leaning toward a dark blue color with a light beige interior...never had that combo and have always liked it. I'll have to go to the BMWUSA website to see how the current E60 5-Series options stack up, but off the top of my head, the only absolutely mandatory item for me is the Sport Package. They usually don't offer the 'M' Sport Pack with the initial car release, but maybe we'll luck out with this one! No need for the 'X' model here in Dallas, and I'm guessing it'll end up around $60K? What about you?

U have the right plan.. I am used to building these things.. this way its always special, pick your options, pick your colors.. The color combo you are thinking will be very nice.. yes i dont think the M sports pack will be out until the end of the life cycle as it uses M components (bumpers, etc). I would take it almost fully loaded, basically the only thing i wouldnt take is night vision.. no deers in NYC.. the one option i am looking forward to is the heads up display, the 335 bi turbo engine, maybe lane assist, lane departure, park assist (possibly).. etc.. have u seen these? ps. how is the C2S cab?

I'll probably skip all of the techno options you mentioned and keep it pretty simple. I had a 2007 335i Cabrio and can tell you that the turbo engine is really fantastic! I've heard rumblings about reliability issues, but I'm not worried since I don't keep cars long enough to ever let them fall out of warranty. A 550i would be a blast, but the extra expense and reduced fuel economy aren't worth it to me for a car that will be driven in the city 90% of the time. The Carrera is for the fun times and road trips! It replaced a 2006 C2S Coupe and I absolutely love the Cabrio, especially since they were making incredible deals on the remaining new 2009s (over $20K off MSRP).
