Anyone gone up to 7 series and regretted it?

I've an "itch" to upgrade to an AUC 740d MSport Auto. Any thoughts about the pro's and con's please? Can pick them up for very attractive prices.

Thanks.

I had one for a couple of weeks while the dealer was sorting out some issues with my 5. It is a great car, very comfortable & posh - but too big. City driving gives you nerves; and parking is a pain.

If I had to take a 7, I would take the new 2016 model (being launched now), as it has enough gadgets to do it all automatically. Probably the most technically advanced car at this moment.

7 series devalue faster than 5 series in general, with the new model out make sure you getting a good deal, I think the M sport is the best looking one, if it's space you after, maybe the X5 make more sense, as the 7 series is technically an F10 in a bigger format, some argue you lose when down to drivability. at the end life is short if your heart is on for one make the jump and just make sure you push for a good deal with the new one out you have all the advantages on your side! I do like the look of the 7 M sport in darker colours with the chrome front air intake lines, looks very sporty, I also think the back looks better then the F10 saloon certainly miles better than the touring one.

7 series does look good in M Sport Trim and Alpine White. So long as you can look past those huge nostril kidney grilles!
