Diffuser easily falling off...

I just picked up my car after months of being at the body shop (a very good one). The first day I scraped the rear (!?$&@) because I exited a parking lot where they obviously couldn't pave. Anyway, it detached the diffuser.

I've snapped it back in sort of but my question is this: do the diffusers easily snap off like that?? I'm annoyed to say the least.

Did the tabs break off? That's what hold the diffuser in . I'm starting to like those clear tails!

No, they don't snap off easily. You have to push in fairly hard to get each tab to snap into place. The edge of the diffuser should sit just inside the bumper. If it's completley flush to the bumper, then the tabs haven't snapped into place.

The white line lights are great! I have a right rear one if you're able to source a left rear...

I don't think any tabs broke but I'm having a heck of a time getting all of them back in. The bumper doesn't seem as rigid as it should be.

I'll bring it the shop Monday but want some peace of mind over the weekend...

Assuming its fairly new and hasnt been installed/removed a ridiculous amount of times, it should be a super snug fit. There are also 3 bolts holding it up under the car, they screw upwards on the flat part that sits up against the car's underbody.

It's actually 5 push pins on the underside rather than screws. They pop out with light pressure with a small pry bar.
