New BMW Calipers

I can't wait to see if the new G30 calipers will fit the F10's?
BMW finally realized that they need some sexy brakes to match the rest of the car! Took long enough...

Not a close up, but gives you an idea.

Dat swept area doe!

In all seriousness though, those brakes look about 90% cosmetic and 10% serious business. Those are big brakes for the sake of keeping appearances up.

Maybe they felt majority of buyers for these cars have same mindset as me (yeah I know "what's wrong with you" ).

Never yet had a car where I went "oh, I don't know, my calipers just aren't pretty enough".

Its all cosmetics, but as our wheels get bigger and more and more suspension parts get exposed, its pretty sad when you see rusty "boring" calipers.

Don't let me get into the unsexy springs..... Thats why i got pretty blue Dinan ones, got the bonus of lowering the car by 1/2 inch also.. lol.

I think those calipers are just another excuse to add more ///M logos. And speaking of logos, it annoys me that roundel isn't aligned properly with the ///M on that wheel in the photo. You'd think the nerds at BMW would know better. Tisk tisk.

Interesting, I've recently been thinking of painting my calipers a similar color. Looks awesome.

You can also get M Performance brakes for the G30, they're so big that you need 19" wheels.

Those look serious, even if it is mostly cosmetic like the other ones. I'm all for it, just patiently waiting for my lease to expire. Hopefully the G30 will be close to LCI at that point (2.5 years)

Just can't stand those mini ///M badges on the fenders. I'm an Msport owner and even I think it's way too much. My first stop will be the pharmacy for some dental floss
