Adaptive LED trim missing
Hello all,
As some of you know, my new 535i M Sport was involved in a crash at the dealership (by the dealer). They offered to fix the bumper (which was done - poorly), but now the rubber trim/gasket is missing between the headlight and top of the bumper. This is the rubber trim located on the bottom of the headlight. Can this trim be replaced, and if so, does anyone know the part number? Seems the dealer removed it and never replaced, and now all that is left is some ugly yellow glue! Still disappointed the first 500 miles of ownership have been nothing bu problematic..hoping my luck turns shortly Thanks again |

Maybe I misundertand the location of the trim piece you are talking about but on my 2014 there is no trim between the headlights and the bumper, just a gap.

Thanks for posting Avimax. The trim gasket that I am referring to is closer to the corner of the light near the turn signals. The gasket does stop prior to the "front" of the bumper. Car is still at the dealership, but I will post as soon as I see the car again. Appreciate the help during this frustrating time! Chris |

I'm sorry you're going through all this trouble with your dealership, I hope they fix your car right. There is a piece of rubber trim on the curve of the light which starts just a little bit before the seam of the bumper/fender. You can barely see it here, but there is a squishy rubber gasket around the the back part of the light assembly .
