Replaced puddle lights to LED. Small mod, big difference...

Picked these up from Burger Motorsports as I always wanted the puddle lights to match the door lights and these are spot on.

Took about about 10 minutes to swap out the old housings with the new ones and the difference is unreal.

Nice Three questions:
How much?
Any fitment issues? and ...
Do you have any 'before' shots to demonstrate the difference in the lighting ambience?

$39 for a pair with no fitment issues. Sorry don't have any before shots.

Nope, no error codes. When I first started the car after replacing them I had that cringe moment waiting for something to pop up on the dash but nothing!

Any reason why you have to replace the whole assembly? Can't you just throw in some LED bulbs in there…..

Call me cheesy but I am aiming towards ///M Logo lights

Nope, you can replace just the lights if you prefer. The cost was about the same for the whole assembly vs. just the lights I was initially looking at though the lights built into this one fill up the entire assembly while the bulbs did not. Just a bulb may not give such a uniform light output, just assuming here sinec I did not try just bulbs.

i got the windfire ones with the bmw logo.

its a nice detail that people are wow'd by when they notice.

I bought them from amazon for 30 a pair.

replaced front and rear with them, pop old ones out pop new ones in (it comes with a rover/mini/bmw ) so you just swap out the lens for your logo.

good quality and no codes!

Thank You.

I have those on our SQ5 and it is absolutely the #1 conversation starter compared to any other mod I have on the car. I think I am going to go with them on the 5er as well.

I read feedback on those Wild Fire as being 10 out of 10 on the quality and fitment but they fade within 3-5 months. Have you had any issues with these on your SQ5 yet?
