535i Muffler delete good idea?

Thinking about muffler delete and add quad tips, but curious about drone issue. There are only about three clips on youtube, but all low quality. If you are running muffler delete, please advice and post a video please. At the moment car has after market down pipe.

It WILL drone. I wouldn't recommend it.

It's good and bad, I cut the resonator and mufflers off installed a DP and now my car sounds like a Demon but the drone will drive you crazy until you get used to it plus FIREBALLS

Ive done mine and i couldnt be happier! My cats and res are stay in place, just took the mid section to end with a straight pipe. I was pretty curious about the drone and nervous too! But guess what?? It dont bother me even for a bit.. funny thing bout this muffler delete is u wont hear the sound of it when u go to high rpm, all u hear just the engine noise, seems like the noise got muffled for some reason. But in low rpm it sounds so deep and sick!

My suggestion is just do it! If u dont like it then ask em to put it back in and only cost u like $40ish, at least thats what i got charged for at my place.

I have to see what happens when I do my down pipe though, thats why I may be picking up an M5 cat back to hold onto for now

What did you do with those flaps in the stock muffler? Do you feel any loss of power around 1500 rpm like my car ?
