Talking The only Option cheaper to retrofit compared to getting it factory installed!

I ordered the rear individual reading lights for my F10 from BMW for about $100 USD, if you get these factory specced it costs $500! Not letting me upload my pics coz its too large..so uploading one found on the net.

$100.00 ? is this necessary option to have for $100.00? I think I have better use for $100 buck, beside hardly anyone sit in the rear of my car or the passenger seats beside me.

That is cool. My kids often read in the back seat, and I always wonder how effective those lights are. Where do you buy it and do you have installation instructions?

Any BMW dealers parts department.

Should be: Carefully pry and pull out old unit. Remove the power plug. Plug power plug into new unit. Push new unit into roof

So if you hit the center button does it just turn on both lamps? On the normal fixture there is a bar light and the two side reading lights. How is the light level in the backseat area with out the bar light? I actually use my back seat all the time with three kids.

Do the two small amber lights come on for ambient lighting to match the front?
