Gloss Black or Matte Black Grilles?
Trying to decide on either Gloss Black or Matte Black grille insert
for an Alpine White Msport. I like the Matte finish but it might not clean up as easily. What do you guys recommend? Show me yours. |

I have not taken any picture yet since I installed my gloss black grilles a few weeks ago and now it is winter and my car is never very clean.. .
I believe that gloss black grilles fit well if you have shadow line. On my silver car it really pop out in a good way. The only thing is that it does not fully match the lower matte grills but otherwise I am very happy with my choice. |

I think you're right, the Matte black grilles would look good and they will match lower grille. |

I recommend the pre-LCI M5 grill look with the chrome surround and gloss black slats. (The surround and slats are different pieces so you can easily mix and match to create this look), then pop out the lower grills and spray paint them gloss black to match the upper grills(this pic does not have the gloss black lower grills)

The M and the 5 are separate pieces, so you can remove the 5, but it leaves the black plastic underneath - not a big deal. Just keep in mind that starting with 2014, the M5 grill now has double slats, so you have to decide whether you want the old single slats or new double slat grill. |
