Guys,

My friend has a 2011 5 Series with the big screen and I want to know how I can enable the connected drive. Please advice if theres an update or something to activate it?

pretty sure you just hit the call button, pay $200 or whatever they're charging and you're done. i don't use an iphone so i didn't bother with it.

where do i pay it?

i think you hit the SOS button in the car and then they will give you all the details. i remember doing that when i first got the car and they asked if i wanted to enable it for 200 but i passed. i imagine you pay them right there over the phone?

sorry i couldn't give you a better answer. eventually someone on here will see this that actually enabled it and answer for sure. haha

No but my dealer here in Saudi tells me it's not doable :s
