Anyone here have a VW Touareg?
I’m considering same to replace an aging Range Rover. Do you recommend any message boards / forums in particular? I’ve been having a hard time finding quality ones… Thanks! |

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't really care for the looks of the Audi’s (too round / bulbous) or the Porsche (too feminine); first generation Cayenne a totally different story. Too bad the current Cayenne doesn’t look more like the Touareg.

i think the touareg is a very solid vehicle haven't had any problems on mine and not to mention the great milage i get in my tdi which is about 28 mpg with 50/50 city/highway driving... styling i think looks a little better then the cayenne and q7 and as mentioned i think clubtouareg.com is a pretty goodsite

I recommend watching the episode of Top Gear when they test the Touareg
Here in Sweden the custome satisfaction is very low on Touareg, but very high on the Cayenne. |

I would take the Porsche. German handling with near like Japanese reliability. You can make it look masculine but agreed that the originial looked more rugged and manly stock form.
