Boring BMW
Why should a 5er look like a bigger 3er? Personally I find the new F10 to rather bland and not particularly innovative. I am going to take a pass on this one and lease an Audi in 2010 when my current lease is up. Chris Bangle did great things for BMW and automobile design. That is why just about every manufacturer knocked his ideas and the advanced BMW aesthetic.

Nice inside and out - now I have to find a reason for a 4-dr sedan

Can't wait to hear what the boys at Top Gear say.
All in all, I like it.

For those that think the design is boring I'm sure there are plenty of E60's currently available with low miles that can be snapped up.
You might wait a bit though as my guess is resale values on those drop pretty quick once this one hits the streets... |

WOW that looks beautiful! I love it. Def way better than Bangles 5 series.
Def. way better looking than the current Merc E class IMHO. Might just trade in the E39 5 series we have for this one.

Here's to hoping the M-Sport kit adds some aggression to the front end, that they offer aluminum trim, and that the 550i is available with the 8 speed gearbox.

+1 I thought the same thing. Looks great, but definitely a lot like a larger E90. I think the rear half looks very much the same. Not that this is a bad thing. Here's a 328i for comparison.
