locking/lighting issue

2013 535i

No comfort access option

After leaving car and locking with key fob, car locks but parking lights (halos) and taillights stay on and don’t shut off, even after an extended time (ruling out coming home feature).

But if I open one of the other doors and shut it and then lock the car I get the beep and car locks and lights all go off.

Not sure if it’s related or not to the locking /light issue or not, when unlocking and opening the driver door the interior lamps do not illuminate. Entry via any other door, the interior lamps light up as normal.

Anyone have any ideas about possible cause??
