When I first saw the M I was like wtf?!?! but then I can see your point of leaving the 535. I mean, in reality it is Msport 535. I wouldn't do it but I can see how it makes sense.
Congrats on your car, looks sharp, enjoy!

I'm not going to say remove the M badge - your choice - but I'd put it on the other side, maybe. It looks too long since the "535i" starts almost in the middle of the car because of the extended tail lights. And since it's a bit smaller than the 535i, looks out of proportion.
But otherwise beautiful car! Nice mods so far. |

I actually haven't made up my mind if I'll keep the M badge or the painted rear reflectors. Easy to change back and I still have the "i".
As far as the M badge goes, the factory saw it necessary to put 10 of them on my car. Call it M or don't. I always though it was odd that they never had rear designations for sport packages. They tatoo your car if you get xDrive and I couldn't care less if people know I have AWD. |

I'm grateful for input, both pro and con. I read many posts on this forum which lead me to do more than just the spoiler I initially had to paint. I felt obligated to post pics.
Thanks again. |

Yeah, we know you have the M-Sport and there are many Ms else where on your car. But I also say lose the M badge.
Other than that, nicely moded F10 especially the custom grill.

Keep the M Badge! You paid for it M-Sport! I have the M badge alone on mine and love it.
Looks like you went with a 3 series M badge? 5 series is bigger than appears in your photo. |

The dealership didn't have an M5 to check the size. The M3 badge is only 0.030" smaller than the 535 and I didn't want the M to be larger than the 535. Not noticable in person but with the angle of the photo, the flat surfaces of the 535 are reflecting light while the rounded surface of the M is not. So, yes it's a 3 but the size difference is mostly just optical illusion.
Wouldn't happen to have a set of calipers to check your M would ya? |

Thanks.
Something else. I found that you can easily sand the chrome grill louvers for matt black. I used a scouring pad to get a smooth finish. The bezel has a much harder chrome and the plastic is actually white. I painted the chrome bezel and ended up using the gloss black louvers out of the OEM performance grill. |
