JB4 Question
Hey guys. i just got a 2012 550i and want to put a JB4 on it but have a couple questions and can't think of anyone better than the owners to ask.
1) I keep hearing that there is a JB4 Stage 2 and a JB4 Beta. What is the difference between those and which should I put on my N63 (non-tu)? 2) According to the BMS website, 2012 N63 has a Type B Harness but I sent a picture of my harness to BMS and they told me it is Type A. Has anyone else experienced this? 3) Anyone selling one? I'm in Cali and its pretty tough to get for a decent price. Thank you guys. |

1 - Beta is the follow up version from stage 2 I believe that also provides for e85 mix....beta is betta!
2 - I have a 2011 which also takes Harness A....2013+ takes B |

What about beta I don't mean for the kit I meant because of the more aggressive tune donee need diff intercoolers or internals or nothing all

I've been debating on getting this...does anyone know what there are any possible effect long term (if any). Since its basically tuning the vehicle pass the recommended specs. Or is it that the car is under tuned and the JB4 is just optimizing the engines true potential?

Jb4 map 1 and 2 not a huge difference but can feel the difference over stock, map 7 different story....much more of a difference from map 1 or 2.Definitely worth getting in my opinion

2012 550 can be tricky .. .Very early models uses Harness A and later 2012 models use Harness B
