What's the risk?
Had new wheels and tires installed last night. The shop that did my install, put 245/35/20 front on 8.5in wheel offset 35
And a 275/35/20 rear tire on a 20x9.5 wheel offset 37 I requested 275/30/20 rears. Called the shop and they said they will swap out the rear tires for the originally requested size. So no issues there, my question is, what is the risk of running this set up? 245/35/20f 275/35/20 rear? I ask the question because I do like the added sidewall protection for the wheels, but if their is any risk ( even minor ) involved with this set up I will swap the rears out for the proper size first thing Monday. |

Did some research the car's rolling diameter is off by 3.76% over stock which above the 3% threshold. Will be changing tires Monday.

If you want more meat on the tires, swap the rear to 285/30, and you'd still be on spec.
I don't know what risk you'd run into, but I'd rather just do it right and not worry. I'd hate to find out what the risk are after the fact. Cheers! |

For the most part, it's risk of rubbing and potential brake failure. Just swap them out for a shorter sidewall and you should be good.
Good motto!
