Hi guys, basically I am a bit concerned about my oil temperature (2015 520d). I’ve read the owners handbook and it says that the oil temperature should stay in the middle at 100 degrees C or on the left side bellow 100C. However, when I’m in heavy traffic usually, my oil temperature goes above mid point(100C) to about 105 degrees. Should I be concerned about this?

I wouldn't be too concerned at all

Mine has done it occasionally as well from new. Its on 73k now with no issues! No cause for alarm

Mine has done it too.
Replecing therostat (£40) helps - back to normal.
