Where to get a M5 diffuser
What is the best way to get an M5 diffuser? Do I buy one from a member and repaint? My car is a 550ix space grey metallic and I want to install axle back M5 OEM mufflers and diffuser.
To repaint a used diffuser I was quoted $175 which almost doubles the price of the diffuser. Is that what people do anyway? Or is there a place that has the standard black diffuser in stock? |

You can find OEM ones online, though I think many members go the replica route. Some pop up here and there on the forums in the marketplace often - also check the M5 forum as many members there replace their OEMs with carbon fiber options.

And I got mine from ebay (link below to similar one). THe fitment wasn't perfect at first so I had to take the rear bumper off and use screws on the tabs to keep them up. But that's kinda what we get for that price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-2016-BM...RXX9o-&vxp=mtr |

Sure! I have a single cf spoiler on my car that looks good. Carbon looks good pretty much anywhere. Hell if the seats were all done up in carbon fiber patterned leather it'd look good.

If you plan on going black most M5 guys will buy OEM. but if you're going carbon fiber than a replica is what most guys do.

I had the same though but CF looks better imo. I have a CF front lip and CF door handles covers. I've been thinking about CF side skirts and possibly roof wrap. Here is the link to my build guide. there is plenty of photos if your interested http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthre...1293245&page=5 |
