Taking 2015 F10 528i improvement suggestions

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a 2015 528i and have made a few modifications that I will post below. I am new to BMW and this sort of stuff so im not really sure what else is out there cosmetically that I can do but I would like suggestions for other improvements I can make to the look of my vehicle. I will post before and after pics. I was thinking of blacking out the chrome trim, I have seen a few people do this and was wondering how its done. I like to DIY if its not too hard.

Looks great! Black out those orange reflectors too as well as that gray piece by the foglamps. That chrome window trim needs to be blackout too!

Congratulations and welcome. There is a lot of things you can do to these cars. Such as blacking out all the chrome, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof/trunk spoiler, remove OEM reflectors, lower it, Tune it, new grills, etc.... it just takes time and money. Here is my car stock and how I sold it (a few weeks ago)

Whats the best way to blackout these things? Do you have any other forum post tutorials or videos? Is it a simple DIY?

Wow that looks amazing. I would really like to change the bumper style or at least the front lip.. I think you have the M sport front bumper right? I looked into them but cheapest i found was 600 bucks. Do you have any links to tutorials or forum post on blacking out these things and where/how to do it?

What the best way to do that? I got carbon fiber vinyl stickers from shadowline to do the bmw emblems with. And I got their shadowline vinyl to do the chrome weather stripping. Was probably gonna use that same vinyl to do the orange reflectors. Where can i get "carbon fiber"

I used the left over shadowline kit to do the reflectors, door trim, side marker and the fog lamp covers

after a year or so later decided to wrap the door trim, fog lamp cover and splitter in carbon fiber vinyl

This lol!

OP there's a lot of things you can do cosmetic wise using carbon fiber components and that's with both the Non M and the MSPORT. for me I went both ways. I kept the Non M front and added a 3d style carbon fiber spoiler with a splitter I wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl

you can also add some carbon fiber mirror caps

you can also upgrade your grills to carbon fiber

here I had a choice to either carbon fiber grills or gloss double slats. I ended up going with the gloss double slats

if you're looking for more of an aggressive look you can even add carbon fiber side skirts extensions but you'll need to upgrade your Non m skirts to the MSPORTS like I did

3d Style skirt extensions

for the rear bumper there are Non M carbon fiber diffusers you can add but they just don't look that great. here's the Hammann style diffuser

your best option is to upgrade the rear bumper to the MSPORT like what I did that way you have options as far as the different carbon fiber diffusers you can go with. here I went with the DTM style that has the 2 fins in the middle

Was looking to black out my wheels also. Out of curiosity what did you use for the wheels? Loving the look of the car so far.
