Tyres / rims / not RFT's in the future
My GT has 18 RFT on, happy with the ride
Demo GT has 20 RFT, ride too hard for my liking Over winter I will ride on winter tyres on a spare set of wheels So, when I get rid of the RFT on the 18's will the ride be too soft ? In which case, should put harder non RFT compound winter on the 18 And non RFT on a new set of 20 rims for summer which are softer ? That's complicated ?! |

While there are some things you can put into tires to help keep them sealed with a small puncture, if that doesn't work, you cannot continue to drive on them. Plus, many of those can ruin the tire pressure sensor, and that can lead to the computer shutting down max power. You sure you want to either waste a lot of trunk space for a spare, jack, and wrench (which you'll have to buy), or risk being stranded somewhere with no spare and (worst case) out of cellphone range?
