I bought a set on ebay....best price came to $100 with shipping. Great deal except painting costs $250 so all in all, $350. Installed myself and it wasn't too bad. Fitment is perfect, just like OE. Getting them in was difficult where the rear door hinges are so there are scratches there but you can't see them unless you really look when the doors are open. I can post pics if you guys really want.

I just checked and the seller doesn't have these on ebay anymore. I think if you go with any M tech/M5 side skirt made in Taiwan, you'll be ok. Here's the original link for reference:

i haven't looked but i'm sure it's screws and mounting clips? couldn't be too hard as the front bumper was pretty easy to take off...how much more side skirts?! really thought about going with those carbon fiber Seibon skirts!

thought about doing it as Vivid Racing wants $675 for those skirts? he said they installed a pair on an M5 and it fitment was spot on. i still have til springtime to decide or else i'm going with the Msport side skirts with the carbon fiber side skirt extensions.

Yep, there are something like 8 screws + a few locking pins. There's a clip at the rear that you'll reuse with the new skirts. There's a hidden locking pin or screw (can't remember right now), towards the middle that you can only see once you remove all the screws. I broke one because I didn't know it was there. Once all the screws/pins are removed, just carefully pull, working from the front to rear. The toughest part for me was installing the new one where the rear door hinge is.

Those are the exact ones I got too and they fit perfectly. Mounted just like the factory ones and didn't need to make any adjustments at all.

About how much time would you say it took you total to remove and replace both sides?

it took me less than an hour to do both and i didnt even have to raise the car. make sure you tape off the skirts by the rear door and the front fender area to avoid scratches.

I did but had to test fit them before getting them painted. They fit so well I didn't even bother testing the other side lol
