exhaust input...f10 550i

hello all,

now that the f10 has been out for 2+ years, i wanted to get some input about the ideal exhaust to install on my 550i.

i have tried to research old threads, but they are semi dated.

was wondering if anyone would chime in and provide current exhaust choices. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Eissenman Race/Sport or Meisterschaft seem to be the front runners for aftermarket exhausts. Dinan also makes one but its pricey. Have seen a few folks who have converted OEM M5 exhausts to the 550 and one or two have done Adropovik M5 with a few adapter/modifications but that is a one of proposition.

Either way you can't go wrong as as the car comes stock it is too quiet and sounds more like a Lexus than a BMW. My 2 cents.

PS I have had an Eissenmann Race since last Oct and like it.

Search YouTube, they have videos of each of the exhausts mentioned above. Personally I'm looking for an exhaust as well but don't know if I'm ready to shell out 2k for a axelback or 5k for the full catback. Right now I'm leaning toward the Meisterschaft sound but then again I may just cave in and get myself a new Breitling lol.

Yeah I can feel you...problem is there's not much full catback out there for the 550i. All seems to be for the M5 so options still are very limited still after 24mos on the market. One option guys it to check the forums classified as I've seen a few guys selling slightly used aftermarket exhaust for these cars when they come off lease or move up to an M or other brand and return the cars to stock. Just a thought/observation.

I've heard sluggoslingers exhaust live and let me tell you that thing is awesomeeeee!! I would go meistershaft or eisenmann (I have the race)
