Any info on xDrive availability?

During my test drive the dealer said that several folks in Colorado were waiting for the xDrive versions of the 5 and 5 GT, but he didn't seem to know when they would be available. I've been putting snow tires on my 335i for the past 3 winters and it does fine, although it's not quite as good as AWD in all conditions. Decent snow tires (and RFTs at that) aren't inexpensive, so I'd probably go with xDrive on a new 5. Has anyone heard anything about the expected availability? If BMW is smart they'll make them available by late Summer or early Fall to ensure that folks don't go with something else.

Search is your friend. We have stated many times when the xdrive will be available.
