PLEASE HELP - Airbag Wire Harness Connector Broke

The orange wire connector all but disintegrated when I tried taking out the air bag. Is this the ground? Can I just wire nut both sides together? Honestly terrified of working with this airbag, so I'd rather not solder or do anything beyond twisting some wires together.

I can't find a replacement for my model car (2011 550i), only the LCI (32307848332). I can't drive without this (for obvious reasons) so I need help ASAP.

I would solder an airbag wire and NEVER use a wire nut.
