What do you guys think of Zymol?
I have a 2011 535Xi black sapphire metallic. There are some light scratches on the paint all over the car… I'm trying to figure out what I need to get… Zymol's carbon wax or Meguiar's? I think they have some sort of a polish that would do the job… any input would be GREATLY appreciated :-)

HD cleanse and a Zymol wax offers a nice finish, but can be a little fussy sometimes.
I'm not a big Zymol fan to be honest, but I'd choose it over Meguiars in most cases. If it's the scratches you want to improve, you're best off getting the car detailed to remove them them sealing with a decent wax or sealant, but that would push your costs up a fair bit. In short, I suppose I'm saying, go with the HD cleanse and Carbon and I think you'll be pleased with the results, but if you choose to you can step it up from there too. |

Thanks Beancounter_74. What other product(s) would you recommend? I've used Zymol as it was very highly recommended for my Porsche.

It's a sealant, but will last longer and gives a nice crisp shine. It's a different look to wax (not as deep) but still very nice. It's probably better on lighter cars, whereas waxes in my opinion look better on blacks/blues/reds. |
