Yes, I am still happy with my H&R springs. I do not notice any bouncing and I actually expected I would with any brand of aftermarket springs. The car seems rock solid in any mode and all modes are still usable. It sits pretty low (which I like) compared to some of the other 5-series models I have seen with H&R (almost as low as I had my E60 M5 with KW's). Overall the car dropped about 1.75" - 2" in the front and 1.25" in the rear from OE yielding an end result of 14" center of wheel to fender on the rear and 14" or maybe closer to 13.75" on the front leaving the fender gaps front to rear pretty much identical and still about 1 straight finger worth of gap (but first measurments might not have been on perfectly level ground). Now I am not trying to compare springs to coilovers, but the ride COMFORT and ability to suck up bumps seems similar to the KW's on my M5 which I loved vs. what I would have expected from aftermarket springs.

I honestly think of your situation a lot (e.g. hit a dip in the freeway and expecting some sort of off balance front to back bounce, but end up surprised that the suspension seems to just 'suck up' or absorb even some of the more severe and abnormal dips in the freeway without any unwanted bounce.)

BTW, what mode did you notice the bouncing in? I don't drive in comfort, but have tested a few times briefly in that mode and still no bouncing.
I'm glad you're happy with them. With the H&Rs, I could only get one finger under the wheel well diagonally, not straight in the front. I didn't measure wheel center to fender. With the RDs, I can get two fingers under the wheel well diagonally.

I could feel the off balance front to back motion a little in sport mode, but in normal and comfort, it was very unsettling. In sport mode over some bumps it almost felt like the struts were hitting the bumpstops and bouncing back -- maybe because it was so low, I don't know.

With the RDs, I don't feel any motion in any modes. It's very strange that we both have the same car, and the same springs would give different results. I'm glad we both got what we wanted -- yours a lot cheaper than mine though.

I heard from another Hong Kong member who has the H&R on his 550 with AD that in Comfort mode his car becomes more bouncy and therefore he never used this mode. I wonder if this is the cause and Comfort mode should only be used on local street or low speed.

H&R on 550 seems to drop more than other models, mine could fit in 2 fingers as opposed to 1 for yours.

Up to this moment I am very satisfied with the H&R springs.
RC3, I'm glad you're happy with your springs. I have a question, if you don't have AD, how do you have different modes? You said you drove in normal mode most of the time.

Yes, the H&Rs and RDs have more of a drop for the 550 than other models. You would think that since they made different springs to fit different models, they would all be the same drop.

Apologize on the confusion, Vinfast. I don't have AD so the DDC does not affect my suspension. It only alters the throttle and steering stiffness for normal and sport modes.

What I should have said is the other Hong Kong member who has 550 with AD and H&R found driving on comfort mode to be quite bouncy. He told me that is why comfort mode is no more an option to him, and he drives with sport or normal modes by all means.

Yes, when I had the h&rs on my car, comfort mode was unusable because of the unsettling and off balance feeling in the suspension. With the RDs, I can actually use all three modes.

Glock 32, I just measured my car wheel to center cap and it's 14.25 for the front and rear with the RDs

Beautiful Car!

Are these the Deep Concave F14 or Semi Concave? They look amazing especially because of the flush look both Front and Back.

Oh but you need some sort of spoiler to set it of the rear.
Copy that!

I would do all the chrome in matte black

The rears are deep concave profile whereas the front is semi-concave.

Is there a reason why the front are not deep concave? Will the wheel go outside the fender with the deep concave in the front? Thanks

Deep concave profile is only available in widths of 10 inches or more.

My mistake, 9.5 or more. The set we put on this car was 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear which answers your original question.

Would the 9.5 concave push the wheel outside the fender if installed in the front? Thanks

We've never attempted to put a 9.5 in the front on a F10 so I cannot answer that question.
