21" Rim Owners!!! Tire sizing assistance

Hello all,

I recently picked up a set of 21"s from a seller here on the forum. I noticed that the tire size was 245/35/21 front and 285/30/21 rear. Has anyone ran this combination? I feel that this sidewall is too tall for the car and will look dunny and also the diameter will be greater than stock.

Your thoughts?

Any input is much appreciated!

Thanks for your reply BigMas. Do you have any issues with rubbing or speedometer being off? are you running stock suspension? Glad to hear this setup works for you!

That's the size I ran on all my 21" setup. I'm assuming you have Hankook tires correct?

No issues at all. The Hankooks are good tires for the money and the sizing will work just fine.

This is great to hear. UPS dropped my wheels off at 8:30 last night. I had them mounted by 10:00pm haha. I just couldnt wait to mount them. The car DEFINITELY needs to be dropped! Ill post post pics shortly, although they arent very clear since it was dark.

Well here are some pics after mounting last night. I wasnt kidding about mounting them at 10PM lol. The anxiety was killing me!

Ill get some better pics by the end of this week! There is supposed to be a winter storm setting in today. The before and after shows the car raised about .5 inch due to the larger rim/taller tire. This will all be cleared up with Springs in the future weeks.

Thanks Dan! It rides fine, just sits a bit taller. Im planning on lowering it ASAP. Debating between H&R or Eibach springs!
