My car makes a noise when i started it in the morning makes some weird noise. Is this suppose to be normal?? By the way my car is a 535i 2012

Mine does the same thing after cold start and as youre pulling off then it quits. Almost like a clicking noise or something from the engine compartment. No clue what it is. Told my dealer about it they seemed to be aware but unconcerned. :

Mine does that too. It sounds like a loose wastegate rattle when the car first fires up and as the idle set to normal the wastegate slowly gets tightened to a normal setting. To me its embarrasing and annoying. If you lightly rev the engine when this is happening it sounds like a soda can in a garbage disposal.

Same here! I took it to dealership and left overnight,so they could cold start it and they said the sound was normal?? It is embarrassing when I start my car after work and have been asked if something was wrong with my car??
